I don’t know how many people on Tumblr know, but Charmed does actually have an official Season 9, despite the show finishing in 2006!

Zenescope Entertainment acquired the rights to create a comic book series based on Charmed in 2010. They have the main actresses permission to use their likenesses in the series. Some of the cast have even tweeted about the comics on Twitter!

Issue #0, The Sourcebook, was published June 2010 and serves as a quick, 22-page history guide to the show, detailing key characters, events and facts within the series.

To date there have been 14 Issues (#0-13) and 2 Volumes published. 

I’ve read every issue so far, and I have to tell you: THE SEASON IS AMAZING.

Paul Ruditis, the writer, is well established in the Charmed universe (having written some of the most popular Charmed novels, such as “Leo Rising” and “The Brewing Storm”), and has introduced some of the most intriguing and spellbinding storylines that Charmed has ever seen!

So those who hate Brad Kern for ‘ruining’ Charmed (I myself don’t, but I know there are plenty who do), then you needn’t worry, for Paul Ruditis does a better job of writing Charmed, to be honest.

There’s action, romance, humour and amazing storylines!
